The world’s first sound heirloom

Soundlocket® preserves a sound through a mechatronic playback system engineered to operate without batteries, charging or cloud connectivity. Inspired by traditional horology and precision micro-mechanics, the technology transforms movement into sound through a proprietary miniature acoustic architecture developed in Finland over years of experimentation and refinement.

TECHNICAL ESSENCE

Powered by motion.

At the heart of every Soundlocket lies a miniature mechanical system designed to generate and release energy through movement. The mechanism stores and transfers micro-energy in a carefully calibrated sequence, allowing the recording to be replayed entirely without external power.

Unlike digital devices dependent on software, batteries or online services, Soundlocket exists as a self-contained mechanical object intended to endure independently through generations.

Built to endure

Soundlocket combines precious metals, sapphire crystal and highly durable micro-mechanical components selected for longevity, stability and refinement. The construction is designed not merely for ownership, but for preservation across decades of continuous existence.

Engineered like a mechanical instrument

Each mechanism is assembled and calibrated with tolerances measured at microscopic scale. The internal architecture combines acoustic engineering, precision machining and mechanical craftsmanship in order to preserve the warmth and intimacy of the original voice recording.

Every finished piece undergoes individual inspection, playback calibration and functional testing before delivery.

TIMELESS SIMLICITY CAPTURED IN SOUND

A voice, captured by hand. Listened to by heart. Re-record until it’s right. Then seal it -forever.
